The little store at the hospital has a great selection of food and drink and the staff are very friendly here too. The food is also VERY delicious and definitely helps take my mind of the awful waiting room.

This was hands down in the top 5 of my worst times at a hospital with the most worthless outcome.

Fantastic hospital with caring and professional staff. They safely helped our little girl into the world and looked after all three of us for the length of our stay.

And I have never really given much thought about who my doctor is as long as they are competent, have a decent bedside manner and have a solid grasp of the English language, this doctor was certainly lacking the latter, he's accent was so thick it was almost impossible to grasp what he was saying as for bed side manner he didn't even bother to introduce himself and he kept going off on tangents that did nothing to help me or my situation.

Not to mention the doctor was so fixated on what he couldn't do for me that he barely bothered to tell me anything he could do for me.

And when I was given a needle before being sent out the door, 3 major things stood out to me 1. I was not informed about what the needle was before being jabbed (nor told after when I asked) 2. the injection site was not swabbed AT ALL and 3. Apparently a bandaid would brake the bank because I wasn't afforded one of those either, so I leaked on my shirt.

Friendly and helpful staff. Still has some of the country town charm and lack of bureaucracy alongside professional and efficient service.

When one is triaged the expectations of a certain level of care and knowledge is expected. (If care cannot be given tell the patient that at the point of triage not make them wait hours). When I was unfortunate enough to have to go to Hospital today I gave all necessary information including what was wrong and ALL medications I am on (and doses) to be told" yep no worries we can get you something that will definitely help your pain", to then wait over 3 hours with a waiting room full of people and (sadly) some very sick children, both coughing up a storm and vomiting. To be then told by the doctor there is next to nothing that can be done apart from give a panadol and or nurofen, I could have gotten the same level of care at Woolworths minus the chance of getting exceptionally sick.

All I needed was for triage nurse to go "we apologise but there is nothing we can do for you here, please go home and be in misery and agony in the comfort of your own bed, rather than wait here and most likely catch something whilst taking up a seat that some other poor sick person could use"

The majority of the staff are seriously friendly, but the issues with the waiting room still haven't been sorted out. These include having to wait inside the waiting room for nearly twelve hours a few times when desperately searching for a fix.

I was taken to this place after a road accident to emergency after being attended to I was told at 3am I would have to leave when I said I have no money and my wallet was in my truck and I'm a type one diabetic and I've got no insulin my wife is 4 hours away the reply of the nurse was you are an adult are you scared to go out into the world there was no check for internal injuries until the next day and I didn't get any insulin or food until lunchtime the next day and when my wife picked me up I was still covered in blood they hadn't even cleaned me worst hospital in Australia better to die then go here
